SIDEBAR MEDITATION: DEUTERONOMY 28: 1 -14

And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe [and] to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:

And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God.

Blessed [shalt] thou [be] in the city, and blessed [shalt] thou [be] in the field.

Blessed [shall be] the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy ground, and the fruit of thy cattle, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep.

Blessed [shall be] thy basket and thy store.

Blessed [shalt] thou [be] when thou comest in, and blessed [shalt] thou [be] when thou goest out.

The LORD shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways.

The LORD shall command the blessing upon thee in thy storehouses, and in all that thou settest thine hand unto; and he shall bless thee in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.

The LORD shall establish thee an holy people unto himself, as he hath sworn unto thee, if thou shalt keep the commandments of the LORD thy God, and walk in his ways.

And all people of the earth shall see that thou art called by the name of the LORD; and they shall be afraid of thee.

And the LORD shall make thee plenteous in goods, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy ground, in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers to give thee.

The LORD shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine hand: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, and thou shalt not borrow.

And the LORD shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the LORD thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do [them]:

And thou shalt not go aside from any of the words which I command thee this day, [to] the right hand, or [to] the left, to go after other gods to serve them.

Even at 6 years old, Morgan Johnson ruled.

“The Princess,” as her family called her, helped her parents around the house and made them remember what was important.

She kept her teachers organized, her classmates well-behaved and her friends laughing.

On Monday, friends laid a pink tiara on Morgan’s chest moments before her casket was closed.

She will continue to rule in a better place, they said.

Morgan Johnson kept her teachers organized and her friends laughing.
Hundreds of family members, classmates, teachers and friends said goodbye to the 6-year-old Monday at Fellowship of Faith Church International in East Point.

Johnson was one of five people killed April 12 in a hit and run crash on Camp Creek Parkway. Her mother, Tracie Johnson, was severely injured in the wreck.(Source)

WTH IS WRONG WITH AIMEE MICHAEL AND HER MOMMA

“The lack of compassion of leaving the scene and having parents that don’t tell you to do the right thing and turn yourself in, that’s what’s so disheartening. It’s basic morality. I’ll pray for that family.” Tracie Johnson (the only Easter Sunday Crash Survivor and mother of Morgan Johnson)(Source)
According to the Wsbtv.com video below, someone switched the license plates on Aimee Michael's car, Aimee Michael has admitted to drug use and Aimee's mom, Shelia Michael, has admitted to arranging to have Aimee's car repaired.

SIDBAR MEDITATIONS: PSALMS 18: 2,3

During the message on yesterday, my Pastor stated that we need to issue the devil (negativity, evil, doubt, fear) a restraining order. A restraining order is a legal order issued by a state court which requires one person to stop harming another person. Restraining orders are sometiMes known as a protective order. Selah.

The LORD [is] my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, [and] my high tower. SIDEBAR SERMON: WE ARE OUR BROTHER'S KEEPER

I have blogged about several tragic stories almost too heartbreaking to think about. Each involved the killing of innocent and precious lives.

One truth that I want to correct is that God allows evil, but does not cause evil. Allowing something to happen is not the same as causing it to happen.

God has given man (both male and female) dominion over this the Earth. We, as human beings, are responsible for everything – good or bad - that happens on this Earth. I never once read in the Holy Bible that God withdrew or revoked man’s “dominion” or “rule” over the Earth. In essence, we are our brothers/sisters keeper.

Why is there famine in the Earth? Because we caused it - either by acts of commission or omission. Why are there wars? Because we caused it. Why is there sickness and disease? Because we caused it. Selah. All by failing to use our power of dominion or rule to alleviate these problems.

So the next time you are texting or using your cell phone as you drive down the highway, remember that you could cause an accident that could devastate yours and another person’s life.

The next time you fail to donate to organizations or ministries that has a proven tract record of feeding the hunger and clothing the naked – remember that you have failed to be your brother’s or sister’s keeper.

I could go on, but you get the picture.

Scriptures:

Genesis 1: 26, 27: And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

James 1: 13, 14: Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.

Job 34:10: Therefore hearken unto me ye men of understanding: far be it from God, that he should do wickedness; and from the Almighty, that he should commit iniquity.

WENDY WILLIAMS, YOU'RE SUSPENDED!!!

According to Wendyista.blogspot.com, controversial Disc Jockey turned successful Talk Show host Wendy Williams has been suspended, possibly fired, from New York's WBLS radio station. Her suspension comes after being crowned the TOP URBAN radio personality this past week.

"Charlamange tha God and Kevin Hunter aka "Hood Hef" aka Big Kev aka Wendy Williams' husband, visited the show today. OK they took over the show today and boy was it something.

While it was exciting for some of us, some people - which may include the radio station's management - won't be laughing. In fact, Wendy could be suspended, if not fired.

As you may know, the rumor is Kevin was banned from WBLS because of allegations of sexual harassment and Charlamange was fired." (Source)

BISHOP PUTS TWIST ON LOVE SONGS

DEDICATION TO FAMILIES TOUCHED BY TRAGEDIES

Romans 12:15 states That we should "rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep".

For almost a month, Character Corner has mourned the lost of many precious lives. From the Revealus Family murders to Carter Family hit and run car accident, my heart has been heavy for the pain that these families are experiencing.

Accordingly, I dedicate this song to the families and friends of Robert, Delisia, Kayla, Ethan, Morgan Johnson, Asia McGowan, Bianca Revelus, and Samantha Revelus.

BREAKING NEWS: 3 WOMEN QUESTIONED IN EASTER CRASH

From the Atlanta Journal Constitution

Fulton County police are questioning three women in an investigation of an Easter Day hit-and-run that left five people dead. Authorities say they found the BMW they believe caused the April 12 accident on Camp Creek Parkway.

An anonymous tip led police to the 3900 block of Ailey Avenue in south Fulton County, where the BMW was parked in the driveway. They later searched the home and confiscated the vehicle.

At 6:45 p.m., a plum-colored Ford Expedition pulled into the Walden Park subdivision. When the SUV went into the garage, three to four Fulton County police officers rushed in as a woman got out. A Fulton County SWAT officer then shut the garage door.

Shortly after 7, police left the residence with three women — two older and one college aged — who police said had agreed to be questioned.(Source)

NELSON MANDELA AT THE NATIONAL CONGRESS RALLY!!!

CNN - Nelson Mandela makes appearance at the final African National Congress Rally ahead of South Africa's election.

SUSAN BOYLE, I LIKE YOU

In this overly “youth obsessed” society that thinks that you are over the hill by the age 30, it is refreshing to see the frenzy that Susan Boyle has generated with her appearance on the 2009 Season of Britain’s Got Talent. Boyle’s angelic voice was able to capture the hearts of many, including the infamous Simon Cowell, who is notorious for his harsh critiques of contestants. I look forward to watching the Youtube clips of her performance in the coming weeks. I truly hope she wins the competition. If she doesn’t, she is already a winner in the eyes of many.

ASIA MCGOWAN LAID TO REST

WATCH: Mourners Gather For Asia McGowan

WATCH: Asia McGowan's parents share their grief

From Clickondetroit.com

"A slain 20-year-old Henry Ford Community College student was laid to rest at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Ecorse Friday.

Police said McGowan was assaulted and then slain on Good Friday by 28-year-old Anthony Powell as she rehearsed for a scene in a school play inside a classroom.

Powell then turned the shotgun on himself and took his own life. McGowan's family said the two had a theater class together at the school, but they were not romantically involved.

Investigators said that it appeared Powell made several advances but was turned down each time.

McGowan’s family described her as an aspiring actress, singer and dancer.

“That was her favorite thing, dancing, singing and film,” said McGowan’s mother, Pamela Peterson. “She wanted to do it all, she had nothing but life in her and I don't understand how it was snuffed out.”

Greeting Eagles!

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11). Eagles, his plans are great. They are wonderful and indescribable.

I used to believe I could fly, but now I know I can. God has given us wings and we are soaring far above the crowd. It’s beautiful! As a family, Robert and our children are all together and we would not have it any other way. We are blessed that God thought so much of us, that he would take us up collectively. Love has lifted us up where we belong; where eagles fly on mountains high.

Our message to you is the same as it was from the conception of the Eagle Connection dream. Continue to dream bigger, never give up and always live life on purpose. You can do anything if you plan your future and work your plan. Remember, stay away from the dream killers and begin to walk it out. We will be with you every step of the way. Yes, you have a personal angel/eagle fighting for you.

Love, live, laugh, seize your moments, step out on faith, trust me - God wants to prosper you.

Now listen… do not mourn my death, but celebrate my life. The Phoenix bird rises from the ashes, the Dove represents the Holy Spirit and peace, but the Eagle stands for power of rising above the earth, above the physical and the literal, into the heavens of rarefied faith, a mystic intuition, and a penetrating spiritual intuition.

Thank you for your support through-out the years. You can celebrate our relationship by sharing with our families at the information below:

RIP CARTER FAMILY

Delisia Carter was finally living the life she deserved, friends and family say.

Last summer the 38-year-old inspirational speaker married her second husband, Robert Carter, 39. In February, Carter gave birth to their first child, Ethan Blake.

Delisia Carter died in the Easter crash on Camp Creek Parkway. (Click here for news video coverage)

On Easter the new family, which included Delisia Carter’s 9-year-old daughter, Kayla, from a previous marriage, went out for a Sunday drive, not far from their south Fulton home. At about 1:45 p.m. Robert Carter’s Mercedes and a BMW collided on Camp Creek Parkway between Butner and Old Fairburn roads, police say. That wreck started a chain reaction of accidents that ended with five people dead.

The Carters, their daughter and newborn son were all killed in the crash, as was a 6-year-old girl riding in another car. After colliding with the BMW, the Carters’ Mercedes spun out of control and hit a Volkswagen, driven by Tracy Johnson, 43, of Atlanta. Johnson survived the accident, but the impact killed her 6-year-old daughter, whose name was not released by Fulton County police. (Source)

SIDERBAR POST OF THE DAY

Health Blogger Evelyn (www.eves-journey.blogspot.com) has posted a great post introducing us to Paul Nison. According to her post, Paul Nison was healed of inflammatory bowel disease by changing his diet. He is a living testimony that disease can be healed by feeding the body raw living foods.

I believe that it is time for us to learn, embrace and apply the TRUTH so that we can be set free from disease, debt, depression, destruction and death.

PSALMS 118

1 O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: because his mercy endureth for ever.

2 Let Israel now say, that his mercy endureth for ever.

3 Let the house of Aaron now say, that his mercy endureth for ever.

4 Let them now that fear the LORD say, that his mercy endureth for ever.

5 I called upon the LORD in distress: the LORD answered me, and set me in a large place.

6 The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?

7 The LORD taketh my part with them that help me: therefore shall I see my desire upon them that hate me.

8 It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.

9 It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes.

10 All nations compassed me about: but in the name of the LORD will I destroy them.

11 They compassed me about; yea, they compassed me about: but in the name of the LORD I will destroy them.

12 They compassed me about like bees: they are quenched as the fire of thorns: for in the name of the LORD I will destroy them.

13 Thou hast thrust sore at me that I might fall: but the LORD helped me.

14 The LORD is my strength and song, and is become my salvation.

15 The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tabernacles of the righteous: the right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly.

16 The right hand of the LORD is exalted: the right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly.

17 I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD.

18 The LORD hath chastened me sore: but he hath not given me over unto death.

19 Open to me the gates of righteousness: I will go into them, and I will praise the LORD:

20 This gate of the LORD, into which the righteous shall enter.

21 I will praise thee: for thou hast heard me, and art become my salvation.

22 The stone which the builders refused is become the head stone of the corner.

23 This is the LORD's doing; it is marvellous in our eyes.

24 This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

25 Save now, I beseech thee, O LORD: O LORD, I beseech thee, send now prosperity.

26 Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the LORD: we have blessed you out of the house of the LORD.

27 God is the LORD, which hath shewed us light: bind the sacrifice with cords, even unto the horns of the altar.

28 Thou art my God, and I will praise thee: thou art my God, I will exalt thee.

29 O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.

PRAYERS FOR THE REVELUS FAMILY

No parent should have to live with the pain of losing three children due to a senseless and horrifically brutal act of domestic violence. However, for Vonze and Regina Revelus, this pain will forever be embedded in their hearts. Mother's grief caught on tape. Click here for video.

On Saturday, March 28th, the couples’ 23 year old son, Kerby Revelus, fatally stabbed his 17 year old sister, Samantha Revelus and decapitated his 5 year old sister, Bianca Revelus. He was subsequently shot by police officers while stabbing a third sibling, 9 year old Saraphina Revelus, who is the sole suvivor of the heinous attack. Saraphina underwent surgery for her wounds before being released from the hospital on this past Tuesday. (Source)

Another sister, 21 year old Jessica Revelus, who was assaulted by her brother in 2004, told reporters that “anything would set [her brother] off”. In fact, Jessica, who is the mother of an 18-month-old daughter, moved out of her family’s Milton home to get away from her brother. Jessica also stated that Kerby and Bianca were actually her biological siblings. She said Samantha and Saraphina came to live with her family from Haiti four years ago after Samantha’s father - Regina’s half-brother - died and Saraphina’s father, his nephew, could no longer care for her. (Source)

All three siblings will be laid to rest later on today. A trust fund has been established for the family. All donation can be made to: The Revelus Children’s Fund, account No. 1315336259, c/o Citizen’s Bank, 540 Granite Street, Braintree, MA 02184.
