I dedicate this song to the April's entire family and friends.

Home going services were held yesterday for April Cutina White and her three children: 9-year-old Jada, 7-year-old Saunte and 5-year-old Jalyn, who were all killed in a car accident on February 18th. Clarence White, who is in the military in Afghanistan, returned to bury his wife and three children. April is survived two older children Kiswana Burke, 19 and Trevonte Hollis, 17. April and her children are related to my sister-in-law. Although I did not know April personally, I did grew up with other members of her extended family.

According to Wilcox County's chief deputy, April and her three children were not wearing seat belts before the head-on crash that killed them.

Chief Deputy Adam Newman says 37-year-old April and her son, Saunte, died immediately.

Her daughters, Jada and Jayln, were ejected from the wreck and later died in local hospitals, Newman said.

Five people in all died as a result of the crash. Also killed was 68-year-old Daniel Elders of Abbeville, a passenger in the van, according to County coroner Janice Brown. She said the van's driver, Brenda Gaines of Rochelle, is hospitalized at the Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon

Brown also stated that the wreck happened when the 2002 Toyota Solara driven by White crossed the center line and struck a state Department of Human Resources van.

Georgia State Patrol Senior Trooper Chuck Gordon, who assisted the Wilcox County Sheriff's Office with an investigation of the accident, says they don't know why White drove her car into the wrong lane, but says there's no evidence of a crime, and no one will be charged.

SIDEBAR: Since Toyota has been in the news and before Congress for defects in their cars, I would have April's 2002 Toyota Solara checked ASAP.

RIP Jalyn

RIP Jada and Saunte

I know that most folks are not interested in animal post, but I must talk about Mean Willy - the killer whale that killed the trainer a few days ago. Sidebar: I choose to call him even though I know the killer whale’s name is not Mean Willy.

I can’t believe how arrogant Sea World and other aquatic circuses are when it comes to animals and human safety. If an animal is described as a killer, then why on God’s green earth would you hold him captivity so that he can entertain you? Black stare. Eventually, he will kill you.

According to CNN, in 2002, a male killer whale, or orca, who had been on public display in concrete tanks for 19 years, swam off on his own into the Atlantic Ocean.

Keiko, the star of the movie "Free Willy," had been rescued from a tiny tank, sent to recover his health in a larger tank, and then finally returned to his native waters of Iceland.

But Keiko left his pod of wild whales and returned to seek companionship among humans near shore. Keiko had “shown he could adjust again to his natural habitat, but he wasn't ready to be independent.” He wanted human companionship.

Now let’s turn our attention to Tilikum (aka Mean Willy) - the longtime captive and third time killer orca who drowned veteran Sea World trainer Dawn Brancheau at Sea Worlds Shamu Stadium on February 24. Yes, Mean Willy has killed a total of three people.

According to, Mean Willy “is the largest orca in captivity and is often kept in a small side pool that is barely large enough for him to turn around. He is 30 or 31 years old, as old as any captive male orca before him has ever lived… [And] [t[he idea of keeping captive such a large, complex, intelligent predator for our entertainment may no longer be acceptable in the 21st century.”

In a nutshell, Sea World needs to be sued for millions of dollars so that they would be forced to free Mean Willy and any other killer whale that wants to leave.

Where is PETA when you need them? Blank stare.

According to reports, Dawn Brancheau was rubbing the whale after the show when the whale pulled her into the water and held her captive, the Sea World Parks animal training head Chuck Tompkins on Wednesday said to the reporters. However, the police had said that she accidentally slipped into the pond and was killed by the whale. One of the witnesses has reportedly revealed to the media that the trainer was describing to the visitors about the show when the killer whale Tillikum attacked Dawn Brancheau and grabbed her by her waist and started thrashing her. The trainer was declared dead when she was brought out of water. Dawn Brancheau doing a routine with one of the sea animals in Orlando before her death.

According to, Spirit has admitted that there was a scoring discrepancy and my Sorors of the Tau Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated were actually the winners of the Spite StepOff Competition.

Spirit released the following statement on the competition website:

After the competition, we conducted a post-competition review and discovered a scoring discrepancy. There is no conclusive interpretation, nor definitive resolution for the discrepancy.

Sprite is committed to upholding the honesty and integrity of the competition. Because the scoring discrepancy cannot be resolved and due to the extremely narrow margin between the first and second place winning sororities, we believe that the appropriate course of action is to name both Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Tau Chapter and Zeta Tau Alpha, Epsilon Chapter, co-first place winners of the Sprite Step Off. Accordingly, we will increase Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Tau Chapter's scholarship prize to $100,000, consistent with first prize winnings.

Sprite Step Off was created for the primary purpose of awarding scholarships and supporting talented college students in their quest for higher education. (Source)

As long as my Sorors got their money, I am straight.

Now I know the world is coming to an end when a white Sorority out steps Black Sororities in a national competition. Zeta Tau Alpha, the clear underdogs by color, won the national final of the Sprite Step-Off Challenge. I give credit where credit is due. Although I am in shock, they deserved it.

Thanks to ATLien for the video and BabbysdaddyATL for uploading the video to Youtube. Both will be my guest on Character Corner TV. Stay tuned.

It is a serious matter. Now my Sorors of Alpha Kappa Alpha did restore hope. They won the Spirit Stepoff Challenge in Chicago. I see where Zeta Tau Alpha got their steps and costumes from.

A Fulton County jury found Devonni Manuel “Devo” Benton guilty of murder and two counts of aggravated assault Saturday in the September shooting that killed Spelman College sophomore Jasmine Lynn.

Benton, 21, was sentenced to a life sentence plus 25 years for the random killing along with a weapons possession charge. In Georgia, a person must serve at least 25 years for a first life conviction before being eligible for parole.

The jury deliberated five hours Saturday, stopping for an hour lunch before returning the verdict at 3:35 p.m. This followed about nine hours of deliberation Friday.

Witnesses said Benton fired a gun into a crowd on Clark Atlanta University's campus in the early hours of Sept. 3.

Lynn, witnesses said, was shot in the chest as she attempted to break up a fight outside one of the university's dorms.

The 19-year-old from Kansas City, Mo., was the first in her family to attend college. She died with a 3.8 grade-point average. (Source)

"If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." -- 2 Chronicles 7:14

Yesterday, “two sandwiches short of a picnic” Joseph Andrew Stack III, 53, of Austin, Texas intentionally crashed a small aircraft into the building, where nearly 200 Internal Revenue Service employees worked. Before his murder-suicide mission, crazy Joe left a suicide note on a website registered to him. In the lengthy post, Stack laid out the reason behind his terrorist attack, which was, in a nutshell, that his white skin, education and gender were not supreme and did not benefit him as he expected them to in this great land known as the “Home of Free”. He writes, in part, that:
I learned that there are two “interpretations” for every law; one for the very rich, and one for the rest of us...

It made me realize for the first time that I live in a country with an ideology that is based on a total and complete lie. It also made me realize, not only how naive I had been, but also the incredible stupidity of the American public; that they buy, hook, line, and sinker, the crap about their “freedom”… and that they continue to do so with eyes closed in the face of overwhelming evidence and all that keeps happening in front of them....

In a government full of hypocrites from top to bottom, life is as cheap as their lies and their self-serving laws. I know I’m hardly the first one to decide I have had all I can stand. It has always been a myth that people have stopped dying for their freedom in this country, and it isn’t limited to the blacks, and poor immigrants. I know there have been countless before me and there are sure to be as many after. But I also know that by not adding my body to the count, I insure nothing will change. I choose to not keep looking over my shoulder at “big brother” while he strips my carcass, I choose not to ignore what is going on all around me, I choose not to pretend that business as usual won’t continue; I have just had enough. I can only hope that the numbers quickly get too big to be white washed and ignored that the American zombies wake up and revolt; it will take nothing less. I would only hope that by striking a nerve that stimulates the inevitable double standard, knee-jerk government reaction that results in more stupid draconian restrictions people wake up and begin to see the pompous political thugs and their mindless minions for what they are. Sadly, though I spent my entire life trying to believe it wasn’t so, but violence not only is the answer, it is the only answer. The cruel joke is that the really big chunks of shit at the top have known this all along and have been laughing, at and using this awareness against, fools like me all along. I saw it written once that the definition of insanity is repeating the same process over and over and expecting the outcome to suddenly be different. I am finally ready to stop this insanity. Well, Mr. Big Brother IRS man, let’s try something different; take my pound of flesh and sleep well. The communist creed: From each according to his ability, to each according to his need. The capitalist creed: From each according to his gullibility, to each according to his greed. Joe Stack (1956-2010) 02/18/2010

The problem I have with Joe’s solution to address his anger about not benefiting/profiting from being an educated white man in America is that he did not hurt the “rich” boys who are actually running governments throughout the world. You know the “old money” individuals also known as the "invisible government" like the Committee of 300. Ain't no one messing with any of them!!!

Thus, the people working in that targeted government building on yesterday were not Joe’s problem. They were "regular" powerless folks (slaves) trying to feed themselves and their family just like Joe. I doubt if any of them even owned a private plane or let alone had access to a private plane so they could ram it into a government building just like good old Joe. Guess what? Joe did the same thing that he accused the government of doing. That is, he hurt the little people. People who did not know who the f*** Joe was until yesterday. Selah.

Sidebar: Bill Maher sat down with Larry King to discuss politics. Now I am not a fan of Bill Maher but he very nicely summed up President Barak Obama ‘s problem in the video below. In a nutshell (according to moi Attorneymom), President Barry is disillusioned if he thinks that his race does not play apart in accomplishing his political agenda. Now we are seeing just how racist the Dummycrats (Ooops, I meant Democrats) are. As the Heavyweight Champion Muhammad Ali said to me about his accomplishments, "Still a Nigga."

MAHER: Well, he had a bad freshman year, as many of us do in college. But I certainly hope things are going to get better now. But I don't -- I don't know. I mean he still doesn't seem to get it that you can't win this with a kiss, you know?

He still wants this bipartisanship that is never going to happen. I think he sometimes believes that he is the kind of guy who can persuade people to do anything. I mean, during the campaign, the Republicans did accuse him of that a number of times -- of being the Messiah and the one and believing his own publicity. I don't know if that's not -- I'm starting to believe it could be true, because to -- if he thinks, at this late date, that he can get them in a room, it's going to change, we're going to put it on C-SPAN, you know, maybe some of that will change something. But you know, it's the job of Party B to block the agenda of Party A.
What he has to do, I think, is do what Roosevelt did when he came in. He didn't want to be friends with anybody. He said about the bankers, I welcome their hatred. I welcome their hatred, because they're not serving the interests of the American people.

KING: So you want him to get tough?

MAHER: Tough and -- well, of course, I do want him to get tough. And stop doing what Democrats always do, which is try to curry favor with people who are never going to be behind them anyway. For example, this spending freeze that he announced, what a typical Democratic idea. It doesn't really solve the problem. It's not enough to put a dent in the problem, because, of course, they're not going to touch the Pentagon or anything like that. So it's not going to fix the problem.

The Republicans only laugh at it. It doesn't win any of them over. And it alienates his own base. You know, the Democrats never curry favor with their own base. A year ago, when he won the election, Obama finally had a base of people. I mean, my God. He won Indiana. He won North Carolina. He won Virginia -- traditional red states.

It's all gone now. Those people are disillusioned and...
KING: You said he -- it's not who you voted for.

MAHER: It's not. That's not what I stood in line at the voting booth for.

The Wall Street Journal did a story on Michelle Bisutti, a 41-year-old family practitioner in Columbus, Ohio, who finished medical school in 2003 owing roughly $250,000 in student loan debt. However, since then, her student loan debt has ballooned to $555,000. Click here to view the full article.

While watching the opening ceremonies for the 2010 Winter Olympics, I was taken away by the powerfully angelic voice of Canandian Saprano Measha Brueggergosman. Her performance was brilliant. I became an instant fan. This woman can sing. (Sidebar: Yes, Attorneymom loves classical and cabaret music).

Hopefully, I will be able to post the video of her Winter Olympic performance. For now, enjoy an interview of Measha posted on YouTube. You may visit Measha's official website @ for further information of upcoming scheduled performances.

"And one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, and perceiving that he had answered them well, asked him, Which is the first commandment of all? And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt l...ove thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these." -- Mark 30:28 -31

I don't believe in romantic love anymore just tolerance. ~ Diary of a Disappointed & Trapped Wife

Sidebar: I think Valentine's Day is overrated. I rather be loved, respected and cherished every day 24-7 over the fake one day gift giving. Write me a note. That is free. Be kind with your words. That doesn't cost anything. One day of gift giving cannot make up for one's continuous failure at showing love throughout the year.

1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.

2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.

3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.

4 Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,

5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;

6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;

7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.

8 Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.

9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.

10 But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.

11 When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.

12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.

13 And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

Amy Bishop Anderson, a 45-year old Harvard-educated professor, shot six colleagues, killing three during a faculty meeting at the University of Alabama.

According to CNN, Professor Anderson, who had been working at the university since 2003 and was up for tenure, had shot and killed her brother in 1986. Anderson was never charged in her brother’s death. Blank stare.

University spokesman Ray Garner has identified the dead as Gopi Podila, chairman of the biological sciences department; Maria Davis, associate professor of biology; and Adriel Johnson, associate professor of biology. The injured include Joseph Leahy, associate professor of biology, in critical condition; Luis Cruz-Vera, assistant professor of biology, in stable condition; and Stephanie Monticello, staff assistant, also in stable condition. They were taken to Huntsville Hospital.

Anderson was arrested shortly after the shooting and is charged with one count of capital murder, a crime that involved two or more intentional deaths and is eligible for the death penalty in Alabama. Madison County District Attorney Rob Broussard said officials were considering other charges, including attempted murder.

While being lead from the police precinct, the suspect said, "It did not happen. There's no way. There's no way. They are still alive." Blank stare.

As I embark on this journey called the Cotton Field Movement, I must first educate you within a series of posts on why this movement is both necessary and important because some of you Negroes have either forgotten Black folks history in this country or never learned it. Sadly, we, as Americans with dark skin who are descendants of slaves, have a history in this country that continues to unconsciously perpetuate the psychological chains of slavery within our minds until this very day.

Hundreds of thousands (perhaps even millions) of African were stolen and sold by their fellow countrymen into what would be the most inhumane and brutal forms of force servitude that has ever been known to mankind. This stolen human chattel was scattered throughout the world. Some landed here what is now known as the United States of America. It was a good idea to use these dark skinned highly intelligent and strong people from the continent of Africa to help build this new territory because these human captures could not escape to the mountains like the indigenous people (we now call American Indians) or blend into the newly founded society like poor white folks could. Their skin and strength (ability to survive extreme physical and psychological pain) made them idea slaves.

Now in order to control this new human chattel, white slave owners had to use certain physical and psychological techniques to ensure that he or she had a continuous supply of submissive slave labor. I now pass the mic to Master Willie Lynch for further explanation of these techniques:
”…. In my bag here, I HAVE A FULL PROOF METHOD FOR CONTROLLING YOUR BLACK SLAVES. I guarantee every one of you that if installed correctly IT WILL CONTROL THE SLAVES FOR AT LEAST 300 HUNDREDS YEARS. My method is simple. Any member of your family or your overseer can use it. I HAVE OUTLINED A NUMBER OF DIFFERENCES AMONG THE SLAVES; AND I TAKE THESE DIFFERENCES AND MAKE THEM BIGGER. I USE FEAR, DISTRUST AND ENVY FOR CONTROL PURPOSES. These methods have worked on my modest plantation in the West Indies and it will work throughout the South. Take this simple little list of differences and think about them. On top of my list is "AGE" but it's there only because it starts with an "A." The second is "COLOR" or shade, there is INTELLIGENCE, SIZE, SEX, SIZES OF PLANTATIONS, STATUS on plantations, ATTITUDE of owners, whether the slaves live in the valley, on a hill, East, West, North, South, have fine hair, course hair, or is tall or short. Now that you have a list of differences, I shall give you a[n] outline of action, but before that, I shall assure you that DISTRUST IS STRONGER THAN TRUST AND ENVY STRONGER THAN ADULATION, RESPECT OR ADMIRATION. The Black slaves after receiving this indoctrination shall carry on and will become self refueling and self generating for HUNDREDS of years, maybe THOUSANDS. Don't forget you must pitch the OLD black Male vs. the YOUNG black Male, and the YOUNG black Male against the OLD black male. You must use the DARK skin slaves vs. the LIGHT skin slaves, and the LIGHT skin slaves vs. the DARK skin slaves. You must use the FEMALE vs. the MALE. And the MALE vs. the FEMALE. You must also have you white servants and over- seers distrust all Blacks. But it is NECESSARY THAT YOUR SLAVES TRUST AND DEPEND ON US. THEY MUST LOVE, RESPECT AND TRUST ONLY US. Gentlemen, these kits are your keys to control. Use them. Have your wives and children use them, never miss an opportunity. IF USED INTENSELY FOR ONE YEAR, THE SLAVES THEMSELVES WILL REMAIN PERPETUALLY DISTRUSTFUL. Thank you gentlemen." (Source)

Thanks to my blog partner in crime Charles the Hater for posting this video of E!’s Chelsea Lately clowning Beyonce’s fan for attacking her on twitter because Chelsea checked Beyonce/Sasha for her wack Grammy performance. Keep your head up, Chelsea because R&B Singer Monica's fans did the same to me when I told her to stop writing on her body. (Click here for the tattoo post)

Several e-bullies aka Monica’s fans took to Straight From the A and Sandra Rose blogs to let me know that I was a “fat-ugly-lonely-unsuccessful” lawyer who was jealous of Monica and that I spent too much time on blogs. Even Monica herself sent me and Charles a nice message. (Click here for the insult fest). Blank stare. Caressa Cameron, the 22-year-old communication major from Virginia Commonwealth University, beat out 53 contestants to win the title of Miss America 2010 during the 89-year-old pageant held on Saturday. Cameron, who said she wants to be a TV anchor, attempted four times to win the coveted crown by competing in various local pageants. Careesa had never once thought about giving up on the title that she wanted since she was a little girl.

Cameron has chosen AIDS education as her platform.
"I lost an uncle to AIDS, and my family also helped care for a foster child with juvenile AIDS. I really think our school systems do a wonderful job educating students about AIDS. But young people have developed an apathetic attitude toward this disease and feel this can't affect them." (Source)
